Hoop De Doo Musical Review at Fort Wilderness

Shows Only Disney World Vacation: Disney World Hotels

We’ve spent the last four days looking at all of the shows available in the theme parks. We started with Magic Kingdom then went to Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Today we’re going to head over to some of the Disney resort hotels and check out the shows there!

Electrical Water Pageant

Disney’s Electrical Water Pageant is a water parade complete with sea creatures and an American Flag floats along the Seven Seas Lagoon by Disney’s Polynesian Resort, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, and Disney’s Contemporary Resort ending at Magic Kingdom during extended park hours. The show can be seen for about 15 minutes as it passes by each resort.

Grand Floridian Lobby Pianist

Disney’s Grand Floridian lobby is a really fun place where guests will find lots of activities regularly and seasonally. One of those regular activities is the Grand Floridian Lobby Pianist who plays during afternoon and evening hours.

Grand Floridian Society Orchestra

Besides the pianist the hotel also hosts the Grand Floridian Society Orchestra. They play a variety of music from Ragtime and Dixie to traditional jazz and popular Disney music.

Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue

The Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue at The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort is a two-hour dinner show full of Vaudeville comedy and all-you-care-to-enjoy BBQ and a variety of sides.

Live Music at Scat Cat’s Club

Scat Cat’s Club in Disney’s Port Orleans Resort’s French Quarter hosts a live jazz band every night! The club is filled with music memorabilia, and guests are welcome to dance and enjoy themselves!

Spirit of Aloha

The Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show at Disney’s Polynesian Resort celebrates family in the way only a South Pacific family can! This heartwarming show is a great place to celebrate special occasions especially birthdays. Besides the really great show, guests will enjoy an all-you-care-to-enjoy family style meal with a South Pacific style.

Honorable Mention: California Grill

While California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort doesn’t technically have a show, it does provide one of the best views of the Magic Kingdom fireworks nightly. Even if you can’t get an advanced dining reservation during the fireworks, all you have to do is show your receipt from earlier the same day, and you will be granted access to the restaurant’s viewing deck or lounge.
