This weekend, the Disney Cruise Line ship Disney Dream will sail on a simulated test cruise from Port Canaveral.
The test cruise will include 300 volunteer Disney Cast Members and is a process required by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as part of preparing for restarting operations.
The Disney Cruise Line website shows the Dream sailing on August 9 for a four-night trip to the Bahamas with paying customers.
The Disney Fantasy has planned a test sailing on August 12 and has a seven-night trip with paying customers planned for September 4.
Disney originally planned to conduct a test cruise in June but delayed it due to inconsistent COVID-19 test results.
