Pin Trading Will Restart At Disney World, But Limited Edition Merchandise Releases Will Not

With the upcoming reopening of Disney World theme parks in July, the company is releasing more information about what we can expect.

Today, we learned some more details:

Pin Trading

Walt Disney World guests will be able to pin trade with Cast Members, but only on pinboards in select locations.  Cast Members will not have pin trading lanyards in order to keep social distancing rules.

New Product Launches

Disney World will not offer new collection product launches and limited-edition merchandise sales in the parks.  Guests will instead need to head over to the shopDisney web site.

The merchandise experience will be different once Disney World parks reopen.

Merchandise Delivery

Disney World will not offer package delivery to Disney Resort hotels or the front of the theme parks.  Disney will ship merchandise to guests’ homes.

Dressing Rooms

Disney World will not open dressing rooms.

Merchandise Returns

Disney Worl will allow in-person merchandise returns.

Glad you can still pin trade at Disney World?
