What princess, young or young-at-heart, doesn’t like jewelry? When a princess gathers together her collection of jewelry, what does she need? A jewelry box of course.

I recently spotted a series of Disney Princess-themed jewelry boxes around Walt Disney World.

I found a complete collection of these boxes at the World of Disney store in the Disney Springs Marketplace. There are five different boxes: a blue box with Cinderella, a purple box with Rapunzel from Tangled, a pink box with Aurora from Sleeping Beauty, a blue-green box with Ariel from The Little Mermaid, and a yellow box with Belle from Beauty and the Beast.

Each of the princess-themed boxes have a felt-lined interior as well as a small mirror. A miniature princess turns as the music, themed to the specific princess, plays.

The box has a small crank on the back where you can wind up the music.

The boxes themselves seem to be made of a sturdy cardboard-type of material – not expensive wood or plastic (as best I could tell), but then again not something so inexpensive that it will immediately fall apart.

In addition to seeing these music boxes at the World of Disney store in Disney Springs, I also saw the same collection in the Emporium in the Magic Kingdom. However, I saw a bonus there: a red polka-dotted box with Minnie Mouse on the outside. This Minnie Mouse jewelry box doesn’t have music, but the red velvet interior is beautiful and will be a great way for Minnie fans to store their treasures.

Let’s take a look:
