Spring 2014 is officially here, at least according to the equinox.
For those areas still dealing with cold and even snow, my apologies.
If you want to visit a place that definitely looks like spring has arrived, head over to Epcot, and take in the 2014 Flower & Garden Festival. The festival runs from March 5 – May 18. The year 2014 marks the 21st year for the event.
More Food
Last year, Disney introduced what they are now calling “outdoor kitchens” (basically recycled, in a good way, food kiosks from the Food & Wine Festival). A new arrival for this year is the Urban Farm Eats location, which is inspired by the movement of growing your own produce.
More Music
Artists perform as part of the Flower Power Concert Series on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. This year you will be able to take in groups including the Alan Parsons Project, the Guess Who, and the Village People (how about a little YMCA?).
More Celebrities
HGTV stars, including John Gidding from “Curb Appeal” and Alison Victoria from “Kitchen Crashers”, will make plenty of appearances
More Flowers
Of course flowers and topiaries are always a big part of the festival, and there are plenty to see all around Future World and World Showcase.
You can also check out some of the World Showcase topiaries, but here we will take a look at the topiaries that adorn Future World.
