Radio Disney Disbanding in 2021: Radio Disney will be ending all operations by the end of the first quarter of 2021. The closure will end a 25 year run by the station. Starting in 1996, Radio Disney offered family-friendly music, mainly based on the pop music genre. As the decades went on, Radio Disney became available in almost every major radio market in the United States and eventually made its way to satellite radio.

Disney Eyes 2022 as Target for new High-Speed Rail: Patrick Goddard, the President of Brightline Trains, held a meeting earlier today to discuss his company’s $2.4 billion project to connect Miami and West Palm Beach to the Orlando International Airport. That high-speed rail project is about 45% complete and is on schedule to finish by the end of 2022.

Disney Has Curated a Special Christmas Playlist For Streaming Platforms: Disney wants to get you into the Christmas spirit with their new Christmas music playlists! The playlist is made up of some of your favorite Christmas songs from Disney films as well as some classic holiday favorites. This new Disney playlist is bound to bring you some “holiday cheer” this holiday season!

Hong Kong Disneyland to Close for the Third Time: Based on information released by Hong Kong’s Chief Executive Carrie Lam and reported in the South China Morning Post, Disney was forced to close Hong Kong Disneyland.  The Special Administrative Region of China imposed new restrictions which include the closure of theme parks.

No New Lockdowns For Florida Anytime Soon: Florida Governor Ron DeSantis stated that he will not implement additional coronavirus restrictions, including a mask mandate. There will be “no lockdowns, no fines, no school closures. No one’s losing their job because of a government dictate. Nobody’s losing their livelihood or their business,” DeSantis said

Three More Restaurants to Reopen at WDW: Walt Disney World continues the process of reopening since the unprecedented closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic in March.  We have news of three restaurants which have reopened in the parks. Find out which three restaurants will reopen here.

DVC and Annual Passholders Set to Receive a Festive Discount: We have some exciting news out of EPCOT.  Multiple online sources are reporting that a new discount for both Disney Vacation Club Members and Annual Passholders has been implemented. The discount is good for 10% off of food and non-alcoholic drinks at select booths at EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays.
