Beverly Will Return to EPCOT: The Disney Parks TikTok account has confirmed that Beverly will return to Club Cool when it reopens this summer at EPCOT.

Disney World Drops Outdoor Face Mask RequirementGuests no longer have to wear masks when outdoors at Disney World.  However, at this time guests still must wear a mask when indoors.

Orange County, Universal Drops Outdoor Mask Requirements: The county has achieved a 50% vaccination rate and has dropped outdoor mask requirements.  Universal Orlando, in return, dropped its requirements for masks when outdoors effective May 15.

Disney Updates Physical Distancing Requirements: Disney World has updated the Returning to a World of Magic page on its website to remove the “6 foot / 2 meters” distance guideline on the page’s graphics. Disney has updated text to read:

200+ Alligators Removed From Disney Waters in 5 Years: According to state records and media reports, wildlife trappers working for Disney World have removed more than 200 alligators over the past five years.  Disney World has special permits with the state of Florida that allow it to work directly with wildlife trappers.

Disney Offers Vaccines to Cast Member’s Family and Friends: Disney World will provide vaccinations to the friends and family of Cast Members.  Each Cast Member can bring up to five friends and family, and Disney will offer the Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson vaccines.

Disney Parks to Increase Walt Disney World’s Capacity: Based on information provided by Disney CEO Bob Chapek, Disney World has already increased park capacity beyond 35%, and it will continue to increase it even more given the new guidance by the US Center for Disease Control (CDC) that face masks are not necessary in most setting for people who are fully vaccinated.

Funnel Suite: Disney has announced that the Disney Wish will offer a new Funnel Suite – a penthouse with nearly 2,000 square feet of space, a private elevator, huge glass windows, and luxurious touches inspired by Moana.
