New Character Cavalcade Debuts October 1st: The Magic Kingdom will debut a new character cavalcade at the Magic Kingdom on October 1, 2021, as part of the resort’s 50th anniversary. Disney’s “Mickey’s Celebration Cavalcade” will include Mickey and his friends in their 5oth anniversary EARidescent outfits.
All New Sculptures Will Arrive at Magic Kingdom: As part of the 50th-anniversary celebration, Disney is going to create and install special golden character sculptures in Magic Kingdom and throughout the resort. Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse will be joined by 50 characters as part of the “Disney Fab 50,” a new collection of golden sculptures debuting October 1, 2021, across all four Walt Disney World theme parks.
New Magic Kingdom Nighttime Spectacular Premiers October 1st: The Magic Kingdom will debut a new nighttime spectacular called “Disney Enchantment” on October 1, 2021, as part of the resort’s 50th anniversary “World’s Most Magical Celebration.”
Zach Riddley Shares Photos of New EPCOT Pavement: Zach Riddley has provided fans with another update on the EPCOT construction process via his Instagram. In the update, Riddley provided us with several images of the new pavement being placed around EPCOT. Let’s take a look:

Delish Magazine Teams Up with Disney in New Book: Delish Magazine has teamed up with Disney Parks to create a one-of-a-kind project. Appropriately titled Delish Loves Disney, the magazine features 50+ recipes from around Walt Disney World. Fans can purchase the new book on Amazon for $13.99.
Disney Is Paying $1,000 Signing Bonuses: Disney World is now offering $1,000 signing bonuses for new housekeepers and select kitchen staff. Disney is now paying Housekeepers (Mousekeepers) $16 an hour and is paying line cooks $18 an hour. They earn their signing bonus they stay on the job for at least 90 days.
Fully Vaccinated Cast Members No Longer Required to Wear Masks Indoors: Starting on June 24, 2021, Disney World will no longer require that fully vaccinated Cast Members wear masks when working indoors. This follows a change in early June when Cast Members working outdoors were not required to wear masks, although they still needed to wear masks indoors.
New Ice Cream Shop Opening in Disney Springs: Salt & Straw is a popular ice cream company that currently has a location at Downtown Disney in Disneyland, as well as locations in Portland, Los Angeles, San Diego, the Bay Area, the Seattle Area, and (interestingly for a very west coast company), Miami. Now, Salt & Straw is coming to Disney Springs!
