Three Best Places to Watch the Superbowl in Disney World

There probably aren’t many people who travel to Disney World to watch the Superbowl, but if you’re an Atlanta Falcons or New England Patriots fan and you happen to be in Disney World at the time, you’ll probably want to know where you can catch the game on Sunday, February 5th, 2017.

Whether you’re a super fan, you just want to stay up to the minute on the score, or you’re just in it for the commercials, there’s a place in Disney World for you to do that.

Let’s take a look at the top three places to watch the Superbowl in Disney World.

3. Your Hotel Room

The Disney resort hotels are a great place to watch the game! Cozy up in your comfy bed, order some room service or pizza delivery, and enjoy the game as a family.

Whether you watch the game in your room or not, consider decorating your hotel window with your favorite team’s colors!

2. Pool Bar

All of the Disney Resort hotels have at least one pool bar, and while not all of them have television screens, this can be a good place to watch the game if your resort pool happens to have one.

The TVs at the pool bars aren’t big screens, and there’s typically only one if they have any at all, but a fun group of hotel guests watching the game can create camaraderie and friendly banter.

If only part of your family is interested in watching the game, the pool and other entertainment areas, like an arcade, aren’t too far away, so Dad can watch the game while Mom and the kids take a dip in the pool or play some games at the arcade.

1. ESPN Club

The ESPN Club at Disney’s Boardwalk has an official event for the Superbowl. This American restaurant and bar is a quintessential sports bar with 100 TVs, high energy, and good food.

The event costs $100 per person, which includes food and drinks. You can expect large crowds and a boisterous atmosphere. In fact, some people are reporting that the club tells them the event is sold out when they call to inquire. It’s worth a call though if you want to celebrate the Superbowl ESPN style. Maybe someone will cancel!

“You just won the Superbowl! What are you gonna do now?!”

“I’m going to Disney World!”

Believe it or not, this is true. After the Superbowl, the winning team heads to Disney World for a parade. Specifically, the MVP is featured during a parade in Magic Kingdom on Main Street USA. Since this only happens once a year, it gets very crowded, so if you want to see the parade, arrive early. Check the Times Guide or the MyDisneyExperience app for the parade time.
