Disney World has updated its COVID-19 policies and now, once again, will require guests to wear masks when indoors, regardless of vaccination status. The change is effective July 30, 2021.
The changes come after Orange County, Florida Mayor Jerry Demings issued an executive order on July 28, 2021, declaring a state of emergency in reaction to increasing COVID-19 cases. Demings asked residents and visitors to wear masks indoors whether or not they are vaccinated. He also asked local businesses to requires masks and also require that employees get vaccinated.
