Disney’s Skyliner transportation system will soon be open for guests to experience! Ahead of the opening, Disney has released some additional details!
There will be 300 cabins, each holding up to 10 guests each. The cabins can hold wheelchairs and scooters to accommodate guests with disabilities, but this may reduce the overall capacity of the cabin.
Testing is now underway, and if you’ve visited recently, you might have even seen the Skyliner soaring overhead just outside of Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The Skyliner also visits Disney’s Pop Century Resort and Disney’s Art of Animation Resort with a shared station above Hourglass Lake, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, and Disney’s Riviera Resort, which will open in December of this year.
The Skyliner travels continuously, a trip between these locations takes mere minutes!
One of the biggest headlines for the Skyliner so far has been that cabins do not have air conditioning. However, Disney says that the cabins have been specifically designed to provide comfort even in the Florida heat.
Skyliner has air flow but no air conditioning. Will you ride?
