Top Five Disney World Restaurants for Little Kids

Little kids love Disney probably because of the total immersion into the themes and the opportunity to see their favorite characters. Here are the top five restaurants that make even the smallest Disney fans very happy.

It’s worth noting that all of these restaurants book up very quickly. I suggest making your Advanced Dining Reservations as soon as possible. Disney allows you to make reservations 180 days in advance in most cases.

5. Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace, located in the Magic Kingdom hub area, is one of the best restaurants in all of Disney for fans of any age, so parents will likely love it, too.

This restaurant reflects Victorian Greenhouses of the late 1800s and serves up an All-you-care-to-enjoy American buffet. This means that your little one will likely find many food choices they’ll enjoy and few they’ll protest.

Even better, enjoy your breakfast, lunch, or dinner while Winnie the Pooh and his friends wander the dining room stopping by for laughs, photos, and autographs!

4. Hollywood & Vine

Hollywood & Vine, located in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, offers a ton of different dining options including breakfast, two lunch menus, and dinner. All meals have American Fare. Breakfast and lunch are served Family or Buffet Style while lunch and dinner menus add some international fare too. Breakfast and lunch are also Character Meals, and the little ones love Disney Junior Play ‘n Dine musical meal hosted by Disney Junior pals.

Hollywood & Vine also offers a Fantasmic! Dining Package which includes reserved seating at Fantasmic!, Hollywood Studios’ nighttime fireworks show. If your little ones are budding pyrotechies, this might be an enjoyable experience for them!

Finally, this very versatile restaurant offers Jedi Mickey’s Star Wars Dine. See Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Chip, and Dale dressed as favorite Star Wars characters. Hollywood & Vine, Star Wars, and Fantasmic!? No problem! You can enjoy all three at the Jedi Mickey’s Star Wars Dine at Hollywood & Vine including Fantasmic! Package!

3. Tusker House

The African-Themed Tusker House in Disney’s Animal Kingdom is a colorful Harambe marketplace restaurant. The character dining option is hosted by Donald and Friends. Plus, Disney recently added a family-style dinner buffet hinting at the new, extended hours coming to Animal Kingdom. If your little Disney fan loves Donald and Daisy, Chip and Dale, and other friends of Donald Duck, this is a great way to make your day at Animal Kingdom even better.

2. Garden Grill

Garden Grill is a very unique restaurant. It is home to Chip ‘n Dale’s Harvest Feast, which includes platters of beef, all-natural turkey, and sustainable fish with fresh salad, dinner rolls, buttermilk mashed potatoes, and more.

The kids will love meeting Chip 'n Dale in this unique setting.

It’s also a unique location because the base of the restaurant slowly rotates to give guests a variety of views throughout their dining experience including Living with the Land’s rainforest, farmhouse, thunderstorm, sandstorm, and prairie. The little ones will be talking about the restaurant that spins and showing pictures and autographs from Chip ‘n Dale to all their friends.

1. Be Our Guest

Be Our Guest is a French-inspired restaurant located in Magic Kingdom with three elaborately themed rooms. The Grand Ballroom has high, domed ceilings with beautiful chandeliers. The Castle Gallery is home to Belle’s private library. Finally, the West Wing is Beast’s private area. Tell the little ones to look for the enchanted rose.

Be Our Guest is elaborately themed, and young boys and girls alike will love meeting Beast and dining in a "real" castle!

Guests can enjoy quick-service dining for breakfast and lunch or table-service for dinner. Quick-service meals are ordered through a touch-screen terminal, but human Cast Members are available if you or your kid(s) have any special dietary requests. You can even pre-order your meal up to 30 days in advance if you have reservations. This means you’ll spend less time waiting in line (and your kids won’t get antsy). Once you order your meal from the terminal or check in to your reservation and pre-ordered meal, your food will be magically delivered to your table!

Is the Be Our Guest restaurant in the Magic Kingdom is a good choice for little kids?
