2020 is gearing up to be yet another year of growth and development for Walt Disney World! EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios are going to have many exciting openings this year.

Here is a list of eight that we do not want to miss!

EPCOT Openings in 2020

1.New Films

On January 17, 2020, three new films will make their debuts in EPCOT.  The Land Pavilion in Future World will begin showing “Awesome Planet”, a 10-minute film with music by award-winning composer Stephen Price that will have incredible and diverse images of our Earth in all her glory.

Over in World Showcase the Canada Pavilion will say “adieu” to “O’ Canada!” and will say “bienvenue” to “Canada Far and Wide in Circle-Vision 3D”.  This ode to the Great White North will be co-narrated by award-winning actors Catherine O’Hara and Eugene Levy.

In the France Pavilion, Angela Lansbury, who played Mrs. Potts in Beauty and the Beast, narrates the new “Beauty and the Beast Sing-a-Long”, (I know, sounds great right?). Directed and produced by Don Hahn, who also produced the animated and live-action versions of the tale as old as time, will ask guests to sing some songs they probably know by heart.

2.Regal Eagle Smokehouse

At the American Adventure Pavilion in World Showcase, the Regal Eagle Smokehouse is set to be the first food improvement on property this year. Here guests can try a range of American barbecue greats like; North Carolina chopped smoked pork butt, Kansas City smoked chicken, Memphis dry-rubbed pork ribs, and sliced Texas beef brisket sandwiches.
