MouseGear in EPCOT has officially closed its doors so that it can be extensively refurbished but not to worry, a temporary MouseGear is now open at the breezeway of Innoventions East!

The popular store now has blackened windows and there is no entering it. Signs are up pointing guests to the new, temporary location.

MouseGear opened back in 1999 and had some renovations in 2011. However, this time, it seem we will get a a whole house (or mouse!) makeover and that follows suit with the new look coming for EPCOT.
Rumor has it that the changes and updates will include a more modern exterior and a reduced overhang to pay tribute to the old look of CommuniCore/Innoventions. The display cases along the front of the store will be taken out and clear windows will let more light in. At the other end of the store, a fan favorite Club Cool beverage spot may make its return!

The temporary store, of course, does the trick for all of our MouseGear!

The new store is definitely smaller than the old one, but much of the merchandise that was in the old store is available at the temporary location.

The new, temporary location is in a convenient spot and should take in a good amount of foot traffic. Luckily it is designed with an open concept so that guests can flow through easily.

The anticipated new look of EPCOT is a buzz throughout the property, and there is merchandise and swag to support it!

Most of us have a pair of ears and they are available in each Park. Guests can grab multiple pair here at the temporary MouseGear.

Disney guests and fans have favorite stores for sure and MouseGear is one of them.

Many guests make it a point to stop through MouseGear during their visit to EPCOT and so this bit of love shown to the store will surely go over well.
