Building for Senses a Disney Spa

Moms have a special kind of magic (seriously- how do they get all of that done in 24 hours while keeping the kids alive and fed?), so why not treat her to a magical Disney vacation?

Don’t worry! I’ve done some leg-work for you! From a relaxing day at the spa to a fun-filled day in the park, there are endless options to show Mom the love! Here are six ways to celebrate Moms in Disney World this Mother’s Day!

1 – When she’s as beautiful as a rose

Moms are beautiful inside and out. Every wrinkle is just a beauty marks telling the story of the life she’s lived. Show her how beautiful you think she is with a beautiful arrangement from Disney Floral and Gifts .

There are a variety of options from classic roses to character-themed arrangements. You can even customize your own or choose the special Mother’s Day Family Treats Tote.

2 – When she’s as decadent as chocolate

Several Disney World restaurants will have special menus on Mother’s Day, which is May 12th!

Other restaurants throughout the parks and select Disney resort hotels will have specialty desserts. Disney’s Beach Club Resort will host the Minnie Mother’s Day Chocolate Party complete with decadent desserts like chocolate fondue, chocolate ravioli, and a milkshake station. Don’t forget to make Advanced Dining Reservations for these restaurants!

3 – When she feels just like home

Let Disney welcome you home at one of the Disney Resort Hotels. When you fly into Orlando International Airport, hop onto Disney’s Magical Express – they’ll drop you off at the doorstep of your hotel. Once you’re there, Disney will take care of all your transportation on property. All hotels are serviced by bus transportation, and many have ferry transportation too. Some Disney Deluxe Resorts even have monorail service between Magic Kingdom and Epcot.

Give Mom a break from making all the decisions and let her just relax and enjoy the ride. She’ll even get extra time in the parks, a MagicBand so she doesn’t have to carry a big purse, and more!

4 – When she’s as fun as a summer day

Taking Mom to the parks is probably the highlight of a Disney World vacation, and there’s no better time to visit the parks than spring!

The International Flower and Garden Festival is in full bloom at Epcot, and the weather is warm!

For the real Disney fan, consider booking her a Backstage tour! Go underground in Magic Kingdom, behind the scenes at Epcot, see the animals in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, or meet an Imagineer in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

At Disney’s Boardwalk Inn, Mom can do a Mother’s Day painting with an Alice in Wonderland theme from 10am to noon.

5 – When she deserves some relaxation

“Disney World” and “relaxation” don’t necessarily meet in the same sentence, but did you know that Disney has a world-class spa right on property? Senses – A Disney Spa has two locations, one at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa and one at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa. Both locations are full-service and provide massages, facials, body treatments, nail services, and more plus packages to get several treatments for one price.

While the rest of the family goes to the parks, let Mom get some much-needed and well-deserved R&R… alone!

6 – When she’s more valuable than diamonds

Some moms just love to shop! Mom can shop ‘til she drops at Disney Springs with a variety of high-end and unique stores like hand-crafted jewelry, luxurious bath products, clothing, accessories, and more. This shopping, dining, and entertainment district will keep her busy for hours! Be sure to give her some money to buy something nice!
