Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure Ahead of Schedule

Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure was announced at the 2017 D23 Expo, and construction went vertical in April 2018. Internet rumors suggest that construction is now so far ahead of schedule that Disney has moved the expected opening up a month to April 2020!

This attraction is based on the 2007 Disney*Pixar movie, Ratatouille and will be similar to the attraction of the same name in Disneyland Paris.

Construction is well under way, and we can see it from the bridge crossing into France. The attraction will actually be located behind the existing France pavilion, with an entry to the right of the existing pavilion when facing it with your back to the lagoon.

Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure will take you inside the kitchen with Remy.  Rats are not generally welcome in kitchens, so Chef Skinner chases you under tables, carts, and even the oven inside Gusteau’s Parisian Restaurant in a crazy 3D experience. The trackless system for this ride means the ride vehicles seemingly move freely making the experience feel even more real.
