The Liberty Inn closed on July 8th, 2019 in preparation for a new quick-service restaurant to take its place in Epcot’s World Showcase American Adventure Pavilion. This is a welcome replacement for many – the promise of a new barbecue eatery is exciting!
While we don’t have an opening date for the replacement, which will be called Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Crafts, Drafts, and Barbecue, construction is moving right along and we can now preview the menu that will feature regional barbecue specialties from sea to shining sea.
BBQ Menu
Feast your taste buds on Kansas City Smoked Chicken, Memphis dry-rub, and North Carolina Chopped Smoked Pork Butt. Sides will include French fries, beer-battered onion rings, macaroni and cheese, baked beans, house-made pickles, and creamy slaw.
There will also be several sandwiches including beef brisket with spicy mop sauce, smoked sausage with tangy mustard, and a burger topped with BBQ pork and an onion ring. For a vegan option, check out the plant-based BBQ burger with BBQ jackfruit. Each sandwich will be made with garlic bread, and there’s even a vegan garlic toast option for the plant-based burger. Regal Eagle will even offer a Power Greens Salad with chilled pulled chicken.
What’s more American than barbecue? Beer! Regal Eagle will have a great selection, including beer, cider, wine, and specialty cocktails honor regions around the country plus Coca-Cola.
Disney hasn’t announced an opening date, but we know it will be sometime this winter.
