See and Win a Pirates of the Caribbean Disney Trading Pin Prize Pack

Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate’s life for me!

Ok, I sunburn far too easily to work on the open seas, but I am a fan of the classic Adventureland favorite, The Pirates of the Caribbean.

The original Pirates attraction opened in March of 1967 in Disneyland, a few years before the Magic Kingdom opened in 1971 at Walt Disney World. Disney management originally figured that people who lived so close to the actual Caribbean wouldn’t be interested in this attraction. They were wrong. Many people who visited the Magic Kingdom in the early days of its operation were disappointed that they couldn’t see the pirates for themselves. Disney responded and opened the Pirates of the Caribbean in Disney World in 1973. Ever since, the pillaging and plundering has entertained guests of all ages.

When you exit the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction, you enter into an extensive open air gift shop. If you enjoy pirate’s booty, this is a great place to linger for a few minutes.

I was pleasantly surprised at how many pirate-themed Disney trading pins were available in this location.

Let’s take a quick tour through this well-themed store and look at some of the Disney trading pins available there:
