Construction is moving right along on the new restaurant in Epcot’s Japan pavilion.
Takumi-Tei, which translates to house of the artisan, will open this summer. Disney has not yet announced a specific opening date, but based on what we can see of the construction, things are moving right along.
Disney is working on landscape installation, which is typically one of the last pieces of a construction project.
Let’s take a look:
The design of this new restaurant reflects the connection between Japanese craftsmanship and the natural world.
This restaurant will feature wagyu beef and will also offer multi-course menus with a Japanese tea service.
Mitsukoshi USA, the same Japanese company that operates the other restaurants in the Japan pavilion (Teppan Edo and Tokyo Dining) as well as the merchandise shop, will also operate the restaurant.
