No COVID-19 Outbreaks Tied to Walt Disney World: Orange County Health Officer

Disney World is located in Orange County, Florida.  Orange County’s Health Officer, Dr. Raul Pino, reported that he has not seen any large numbers of positive Coronavirus cases tied to the reopening of Walt Disney World.

That said, Dr. Pino also cautioned that individuals have become positive, and the data he used for his analysis is self-reported. Individuals could have reported incorrect information – either purposefully or unknowingly.

Orange County will continue to monitor health reports in Central Florida to provide information on the area’s reopenings to Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings.
