Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is one of two fabulous events held in Magic Kingdom during the holiday season. This year’s party begins on August 16th and runs select nights until November 1st.
This year’s party will have some returning favorites like ride enhancements to the Mad Tea Party in Fantasyland with special lighting and music after dark, live pirates on Pirates Of The Caribbean in Adventureland, and a completely dark Space Mountain in Tomorrowland with rock music playing throughout the ride experience.
Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular also returns along with the ride of the Headless Horseman and the Mickey’s Boo to You parade and the Scream-o-Ween Ball Dance Party with some of your favorite Monsters, Inc. characters.
There are also some new experiences this year! While Storybook Circus Disney Junior Jam was introduced last year, Nancy Clancy from Fancy Nancy will be joining Vampirina and Doc McStuffins for the first time. You can enter the monster world through Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor where you’ll interact with monsters who are learning about Halloween in the human world.
Finally, Disney is getting rid of HalloWishes and replacing it with Disney’s Not So Spooky Spectacular. Jack Skellington and his ghost dog, Zero, host the show. Zero flies off carrying all of us with him on a trick or treating adventure. Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy explore a mysterious haunted house where every room has a new surprise like dancing skeletons, waltzing ghosts, and a whole host of Disney Villains. Anything can happen on Halloween night! The story is complemented with projection technology, lasers, lighting, and fireworks.
Goodbye, HalloWishes; Hello, Disney’s Not So Spooky Spectacular?
