Disney has been doing a great job of opening highly themed buildings and areas in the new Fantasyland expansion.
First, there was the Be Our Guest restaurant, followed by the Tangled Rest Area.
Now, Disney has opened a bit more of the huge Fantasyland expansion with a new Disney Vacation Club (DVC) sales kiosk. Located on the site of the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train that faces Under The Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid, the kiosk is themed as a carving workshop that builds figureheads (the carved statues that decorate the front of a ship). At least that is the theme as best I can make it out.
Let’s look at some of the great details of this location:
While most folks probably aren’t cheering about the opening of yet another DVC sales location, it is a part of how Disney operates and they did a nice job of blending this location into the story of the area. Besides, a good-looking DVC location is better than an ugly one, isn’t it?
