Captain Hook’s Pirate Crew at Disney’s Beach Club Resort
Let’s start with the littles. Guests from 4-12 years old can navigate the seas (well, Crescent Lake!) with Hook himself! They will be looking for some treasure, can make some friends and are treated to a pirate feast while their parents are doing adult things or just relaxing by the pool, knowing the kids are safe and having fun!
The cost is $55 per child plus tax. From now until May 31, Annual Passholders are able to receive a 10% discount. DVC members are also able to receive at 10% discount but there is no cut-off date. To get more info or reserve a spot, call 407-824-KIDS.
Mermaid School is back in session! Guests ages 4 and over can go to mermaid school on select dates beginning March 1. The school is located in some of the best spots on property; Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts, Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney’s All Star Music Resort and even the newest Disney’s Riviera Resort. Yes, you can really swim like a mermaid, tail and all, just like Ariel, for $55 per person per class plus tax and you can sign up now at 407-WDW-PLAY.
The Chocolate Workshop, Presented by The Ganachery (NEW!)
A chocolate workshop? Really?? OK!!
This is a hands-on experience that will educate guests on what might be the most popular sweet on planet earth, all in the stunning atmosphere of their newest resort, Disney’s Riviera.
A chef chocolatier from The Ganachery at Disney Springs will teach guests how to taste chocolate, then guests will get a demonstration on how they make their amazing ganache and guests will make their own chocolate truffle pops!
For only $60 per person, this is a fun event for anyone, the classes are held on Sundays at 11 am and guests can sign up at 407-WDW-PLAY.
Crockett’s Craft Corner at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground
Get to the woods and let that inner artist out!
This workshop focuses on board, brush, and paint and asks guests from 8 years and older to express their love for color and art.
At the cost of $75 plus tax per guest, this 2-hour workshop will send guests home with their own newly created piece of art, a personal rustic wooden sign to enjoy or to gift to a favorite friend or family member. A light assortment of refreshments and treat are served to help bring out the artist in all of us!

Looking for a fun way to see the sights and stay in shape while on Disney property? The races aren’t long (depending on your ability), but typically between 1.2-1.8 miles can be done quickly – but on some lovely courses!
