Is This The Most Expensive Magic Kingdom Souvenir Ever?

Many of us like to pick up a souvenir to help us remember our vacation to Disney World. Perhaps we buy a new trading pin, a t-shirt, or even a figurine.

But what if money were no object?

What if you could afford to buy the most expensive souvenir available at the Magic Kingdom? Just what souvenir would that be? And would you even want it?

Of course, if money is no object, you can safely assume that your home has the appropriate space to hold and display any Disney treasure…

Most Expensive Souvenir?

I looked all around the Magic Kingdom for the most expensive item you could buy. Not an experience, not a resort stay, but a physical memento.

My journey took me to the Crystal Arts shop on Main Street USA.

I thought that I found the most expensive souvenir right there in the store window – a replica of Cinderella Castle made of glass.

Price tag? A cool $32,500. Expensive, but not the most expensive.

If you venture further into the store, you will see a different castle. It is dazzling and brilliant – photographs can’t really capture the shine that comes from the hundreds of sparkling Swarovski crystals built into this castle.

This castle dazzles in the light - photos don't do it justice.

Ready to take the plunge and purchase this castle? I asked a few questions of the Cast Member who worked in the Crystal Arts store.  Here’s what I found out:

Question: Have you ever sold any of these castles?

Answer: Yes, we’ve sold about ten of them over the past four to five years.

Question: Can I take this one home with me today?

Answer: The castle in the store is for display purposes only. There is no inventory of castles like this. If you would like one, you need to put an order in. The store’s artists will then take the next two to three months to build your castle.

Question: How do I get the castle to my home?

Answer: Since it won’t be ready for several months, we will ship it to you.
