More Evidence The World Celebration Festival Center in EPCOT is Canceled?

During the D23 expo in 2019, Disney announced many exciting changes for EPCOT.  Once included the World Celebration Festival Center, a unique three-level structure that included a plaza level, a middle expo level, and a park-like setting on the top level.  The new structure was to be the home of many celebrations and special events in EPCOT.

Then, the Coronavirus hit.

Disney announced $700 million in cuts to spending in the parks, and announced it would take a different approach to the center of EPCOT’s Future World remodel.  Many have speculated that this means the Festival Center will be delayed or canceled.

First, Disney removed the model of the Festival Center from the EPCOT Experience attraction.

Now, reports state that shopDisney has removed the Festival Center from a poster collection.

All this seems to be more evidence that we won’t need the Center for a while – if ever.

Do you think the EPCOT World Celebration Festival Center is canceled forever?
