If you want to spend more time with your favorite characters than a typical meet and greet, a Character Dining Meal is the way to go. You’ll even get pictures with your favorite characters!
One of the more laid back options is Cape May Café at Disney’s Beach Club Resort. This deluxe resort is very close to Epcot on the World Showcase side; it’s a short walk to the International Gateway entrance.
You don’t have to be staying at the resort to enjoy this opportunity. Just hop on a Disney bus at one of the parks and head to the resort.
Minnie hosts the Beach Bash Breakfast, and her friends Goofy and Donald join her. Now, Daisy will be joining her too! All of the characters are dressed in their best beach attire, which complements the resort and the restaurant well with its cool colors and beachside feel.
The menu includes a full breakfast buffet with scrambled eggs, seasoned potatoes, sausage, oatmeal, sliced meats, cheese, yogurt, fruit, bread, pastries, cereal, frittatas, French toast, grits, biscuits and gravy, a crepe station, and of course the famous Mickey Waffles.
While Disney suggests making Advanced Dining Reservations 180 days in advance, Cape May usually has openings later on and even at the last minute. Often the restaurant isn’t very crowded, and you might be surprised by how relaxed and quiet it is especially if you’ve attended other Character Breakfasts, which usually tend to be noisy.
Breakfast is served from 7:30am to 11:00am every day, so make your dining reservations now and meet Daisy Duck!
