All the Disney World parks, and especially the Magic Kingdom, offer a huge array of activities including thrill rides, dark rides, shows, food, and unique transportation options.
However, there is one thing that often seems in short supply: a place to sit down and relax for just a few minutes – a place to take a load off and not feel guilty that you are taking up a restaurant table when there is a long line of hungry people waiting to pounce on it.
Disney added a few outdoor tables at in the Tangled Rest Area, including a few spots with electrical outlets where you could charge your smart phone or tablet. That area is unique and tranquil, but it is exposed to the elements and the seats are hard.
Now, the Magic Kingdom has added a new place to relax that is covered and has a comfy and quite unique seating. It’s located in the Storybook Circus area of Fantasyland not far from the Fantasyland stop of the Walt Disney World Railroad.
Disney converted the former FastPass distribution tent into a relaxing, covered oasis that has plenty of seating. I’m not sure I’ve ever before seen furniture that looks like it fits a circus theme, but the stools, couches, and chairs here just scream “circus”!
Let’s take a look:
