Parking at Disney Springs, and before that Downtown Disney, has often been a challenge. Hopefully that is about to change.
On April 15, 2019, Disney opened the last of three garages to be built, the Grapefruit Garage. This garage joins its sister garages, the Lime Garage, which is just across the street, and the Orange Garage.
The new Grapefruit Garage is location on Buena Vista Drive and connects via a pedestrian bridge to the Marketplace section of Disney Springs near the World of Disney Store and the Basin store.
The pedestrian bridge passes by the Disney Casting building.
Just like the other two garages at Disney Springs, this garage offers five levels of parking. It also includes the same parking technology that has a red or green light above each parking space to indicate if the space is open or occupied. The makes it much easier to find spots when the garage is nearly full.
