Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground is a popular destination even for guests staying at other Disney resort hotels. Fort Wilderness has lots of dining and outdoor activities including nightly campfires, Tri-Circle-D Ranch, and a marina.

Now, Disney is limiting – at least temporarily – parking within the confines of Fort Wilderness property to guests with resort, activity, or Advanced Dining Reservations at the resort.

Only guests with dining, activity, or resort reservations will be allowed to park at Fort Wilderness until further notice.

This change is likely in connection with preparations for Reflections – A Disney Lakeside Resort but could also be linked to the expansion of the stables at Tri-Circle-D Ranch.

Don’t worry! You can still visit Fort Wilderness! You’ll just have to get there some other way. Fort Wilderness is accessible through Disney bus transportation or by boat from Disney’s Wilderness Lodge or Disney’s Contemporary Resort, both of which are tied to Magic Kingdom and thus the monorail.
