Photo Tour: First Epcot International Festival of the Arts

Epcot held its first festival way back in 1994 to increase attendance during the typically slow period in the Spring between Spring Break and the end of the school year; it was called the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival.

In the Fall of 1995, the park hosted the first Epcot International Food and Wine Festival.

Now, in the Winter of 2017, Epcot is hosting the Epcot International Festival of the Arts.

This new festival brings together the best of culinary, performing, and visual arts. Many of the features of this festival will change frequently; sometimes it’s weekend to weekend, day to day, or even minute by minute.

There will be art on display for you to look at, and there will also be artists creating pieces in the moment. You’ll see some of what you love from both of the existing festivals plus some new things you’ve never see before!

Let’s take a look at some of what you can see at the first (annual) Epcot International Festival of the Arts.
