As part of the 2020 Epcot International Festival of the Arts, Epcot has debuted three new films around the park. I had a chance to check them all out, courtesy of the nice folks at Disney Media Relations.
Let’s take a look!
Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along
Get ready to be wowed!
If there is one take-away I have from viewing the Beauty and the Beast Sing Along it is “we are gonna need a bigger theatre!”
Housed in the Palais Du Cinema in the France Pavilion in Epcot, this show ticks all the boxes. It is a fresh spin on a classic and beloved tale. It keeps just enough of the magic we all know and expect and remixes it in a way that is sure to surprise and delight multi-generational audiences.

This is truly a fun for the whole family show. Imagineers took notes from the extremely popular Frozen Sing Along in Hollywood Studios and brought the same concept to this Epcot film.

The Beauty and the Beast Sing Along is completely animated and totally adorable, with a surprising new hero! This hilarious and poignant spin on a Tale and Old as Time is sure to be the new crown Jewel of the World Showcase.
Canada Far and Wide in Circle Vision
This new 360-degree film is part of the transformation of Epcot. This updated movie is more authentic and engaging and includes Canadian voice-overs and music. A new digital circle vision camera was used in unique spots throughout Canada to produce a much broader Canadian story. Canada Far and Wide allows us to see not only the landscapes, but the love Canadians have for art, theatre, dance, and music.

Explore all the incredible landscapes of Canada as you travel coast to coast in circle vision. This movie is visually beautiful and truly stands to educate each guest about the unique landscapes across the country along with the culture and history of the land.

Take the time to check out this masterpiece in cinematography next time you are in Epcot!
Awesome Planet
Housed in the Land Pavilion, this moving call to action film promises to empower guests to become stewards of the land. It will help guests understand how unique the planet earth is. Cinematographers from around the world have supplied footage to help bring this theme to life. Ty Burrell narrates in what is sure to be a moving cinematic experience.
