Thanksgiving dinner may be over, but that doesn’t mean you have to wait another year to enjoy a fabulous turkey dinner.

Disney World is well known for its diverse offerings of delicious, cultured food, and there’s no shortage of indulgences. There may only be a few other places in the entire world where you can get such variety in one area.

Liberty Tree Tavern

Liberty Tree Tavern in Magic Kingdom‘s Liberty Square has a rustic atmosphere with wood paneling, brick fireplaces, and cozy rooms. Each of the six dining areas pays tribute to a significant figure in American history including Ben Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, John Paul Jones, Paul Revere, Betsy Ross, and our founding father, George Washington.

If you’re visiting for lunch between 11am and 2:55pm, you’ll have a few different options including an appetizer of New England clam chowder and a main course of pasta with grilled chicken or sautéed shrimp, or an Angus Chuck Cheeseburger. For dessert, try seasonal sorbet, Boston cream pie, or the famous toffee cake. There are also kids meals and a variety of beverages like the Patriot’s Punch, a frozen cherry apple slushie.

The real story here though is the Patriot’s Platter. This all you care to enjoy family style meal, which is served for lunch and dinner (from 3:15 to 7pm), and brings the classic American Thanksgiving Dinner to Walt Disney World guests every day. For $34.99 per person, you can enjoy tossed salad, roasted turkey breast, sliced prime rib, carved pork roast, mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables, stuffing (or dressing), and mac and cheese. Dessert is also included, so save some room for Johnny’s Appleseed Bread Pudding, which is warmed bread pudding with apples and vanilla ice cream.

If you would like to enjoy this amazing bounty, you’ll need to have valid park admission, and Advanced Dining Reservations are highly recommended.
