Disneyland To Become COVID-19 Vaccination Site

Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure parks in California have been closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic since March 14, 2021, and remain closed to this day.  There is no plan for reopening these California theme parks to provide guests with a fun day of Disney entertainment, but there are now plans to use the Disneyland Resort to help administer vaccinations.

Disneyland will become the largest vaccination site in Orange County, California – a so-called “Super first Point-of-Dispensing site.”  The goal is to vaccinate thousands of local residents each day.

Disneyland is set to begin providing vaccinations later this week, along with other large facilitates such as Dodger Stadium.

According to regulations by the state of California, only residents defined in Phase 1a – those 75 years or older – will be eligible for vaccination initially.

Glad to see the Disneyland Resort will be used to deliver COVID-19 vaccinations?
