Disneyland Announces Magic Key – Replacement To Canceled Annual Pass Program

Back in January 2021, Disneyland canceled its Annual Pass program and shortly after began offering refunds.

Now, after extensive consumer research and listening to feedback from guests and fans, Disneyland has announced the successor to the Annual Pass program, called Magic Key.

Magic Key is a reservation-based admission to the Disneyland Resort parks that offers four program levels.

Let’s take a look:

Dream Key – $1399

  • Block out dates: None
  • Park reservations: 6, booked 90 days in advance
  • Parking: Included, but with block out dates
  • Discounts: 20% off merchandise, 15% off select dining

Believe Key – $949

  • Block out dates: Some
  • Park reservations: 6
  • Parking: 50% discount
  • Discounts: 10% off merchandise, and 10% off select dining.

Enchant Key – $649

  • Block out dates: More than Believe Key
  • Park reservations: 4
  • Parking: Full price
  • Discounts: 10% off merchandise, and 10% off select dining.

Imagine Key – $399

  • Block out dates: Most
  • Park reservations: 2
  • Parking: Full price
  • Discounts: 10% off merchandise, and 10% off select dining.
  • Availability: Southern California residents only

Other Perks

Disneyland will offer Magic Key holders other benefits such as dedicated dining experiences, special festival offerings, a celebration month, and other surprises.

Guests who sign up for Magic Key within the first 66 days of its offering will receive a special welcome package with a pin, button, magnet, and other goodies.  They will also get a limited-time experience at the Tomorrowland Starcade.

Purchase Details

Guests can purchase the Magic Key starting on August 25, 2021.  Disneyland will offer a monthly payment plan for California residents.
