Disney World To End Magical Express Airport Service

Disney World will end it’s Magical Express bus service to and from Orlando International Airport at the end of 2021.

Magical Express is a free perk to guests staying at Disney Resort hotels that provides airport transportation.  It will end with guest arrivals starting on January 1, 2022.  The service will continue for reservations and stays in 2021.

Disney made the following statement:

Vacationers have more options to choose from than ever for transportation, including ride-share services that save time and offer more flexibility to go where they want, when they want.

Move From Bus To Train?

Disney World and Brightline trains announced plans to build a high-speed rail station at Disney Springs which would connect to Orlando International Airport and on to stops in South Florida.  However, the timeline for the train service is not in place, and it seems unlikely that Brightline trains would be ready to transport guests from MCO to Disney World by January 1, 2022.
