During a recent vacation to Disney World, I was able to snag a peak at the construction for Disney World’s Skyliner, a new transportation system that will open in late 2019.

When complete, the Disney Skyliner will connect Pop Century, Art of Animation, Caribbean Beach, and the planned DVC Disney Riviera Resorts with Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios.

We stayed at Disney’s Art of Animation, a Disney value resort, which will be a stop on the Skyliner. This particular stop will be shared by Art of Animation and Disney’s Pop Century Resort. The two Disney resort hotels are separated by Hourglass Lake and connected by Bridges.

Let’s take a look at the Skyliner construction between Art of Animation and Pop Century Resorts!

These nice men told me they're working on the restrooms for the nearby Skyliner! This is on the Art of Animation side just before crossing the bridge pictured above.

Here's another view from the Art of Animation side. You can see the bridge on the left side and buoys protecting the water from possible contamination.

Here's a longer view of the towers. They go on for quite a ways!
