Disney World has started to recall theme park Cast Members as it gets ready for the public reopening of the Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Animal Kingdom on July 11, and then EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios on July 15.
Reports state the Cast Member will begin working again on June 28. This will give the Cast Members enough time to go through new training on health and safety guidelines. This might include information on new social distancing procedures, new queue arrangements, new methods for loading and unloading guests in attractions.
While the parks won’t open until July 11 or 15, Disney has stated that they will conduct previews for Annual Passholders, Club 33 members, DVC members, and other affinity groups. Disney has not yet announced the details of when these previews will take place, or how guests will be able to participate in them.
Disney is planning to reopen Disney Vacation Club Resorts on June 22 and has already recalled Cast Members in housekeeping and restaurants.
Glad to hear that Disney’s theme park Cast Members are returning to work?
