Disney World Partners With AdventHealth To Built ER at Flamingo Crossings

Disney World has renewed and expanded its partnership with AdventHealth.  The healthcare organization is now the “Official Health Care Provider” and the “Official Virtual Health Care Provider ” for Disney World.

Disney and AdventHealth have been partners for more than 20 years.  Most recently, Disney used AdventHealth to provide temperature screenings around Disney property, but Disney is shutting down temperature screening soon.

The companies have announced that AdventHealth will build an emergency room in Flamingo Crossings Town Center, the new retail and hotel development just west of Disney’s Animal Kingdom.  Flamingo Crossings is the new home for Disney College Program housing.

The facility will include board-certified emergency physicians and emergency nurses who will provide emergency care.

AdventHealth will work to provide services to Disney World guests as they plan their vacations, including online tools and dedicated employees.  This includes urgent care, medical equipment, and prescription delivery to Disney World Resort hotels.

AdventHealth will also provide telemedicine to Disney World guests via computers, smartphones, and tablets.

Glad to hear Disney and AdventHealth are building a new ER on Disney property?
