Disney World Increasing Park Capacity

The last official information we had from Disney was that Disney World park capacity was set at 35%.

Now, based on information provided by Disney CEO Bob Chapek, Disney World has already increased park capacity beyond 35%, and it will continue to increase it even more given the new guidance by the US Center for Disease Control (CDC) that face masks are not necessary in most setting for people who are fully vaccinated.

Here is what Chapek said:

In terms of the parks, and when we’re going to sort of be able to raise our capacity limits, we’ve actually already started that. Given the guidance that just came today, from the CDC, and earlier guidance that we got from the governor of Florida, we’ve already started to increase our capacities.

So I think you’re going to see an immediate increase in the number of folks that were able to admit into our parks through our reservation systems that we recently implemented. So we’re very, very excited about that.

We don’t know when Disney will further increase park capacity or to what level, but it seems like positive changes are on the way.

Glad Disney World is increasing park capacity?
