Disney World Announces Florida Resident Ticket Offer

Walt Disney World has always offered discounts for Florida Residents, but they sometimes provide special promotions for those living in park’s home state.

The “Discover Disney” ticket offer is for Florida Residents only. If you fall into that category, you can get a three-day ticket for just $139, which is the same price as last year.

You can also customize your ticket. You can add a fourth day (and visit all four parks) for another $20 and you can make your tickets parkhoppers for another $27.50 for a three-day pass and $34.50 for a four-day pass.

The Discover Disney ticket can be purchased now through June 5th, and it must be used by June 9th. Any adult taking advantage of this ticket must provide proof of residency at the park entrances.

Good deal? Hmm...

This ticket does come with some blockout dates, including from May 27th to June 9th at Disney’s Animal Kingdom (maybe because of Pandora opening?).  The other parks are open for the duration of the offer.

When you consider that a normal three-day pass would run you about $185 and a four-day pass would be over $200, it’s obvious that this is a pretty good deal. This ticket has also been somewhat immune to ticket price hikes over the last several years. In 2008, a three-day ticket under the same promotion cost $125. That’s only a $14 increase!
