Disney World Ending Extra Magic Hours, Starting Early Theme Park Entry

Since the Florida Disney Parks reopened after the pandemic and the longest shut down in Disney World history, the company suspended the Extra Magic Hours benefit – where Disney Resort Hotel guests could access one park an hour earlier than day guests and Annual Passholders.

We’ve learned that the Extra Magic Hours will not return at all, but will instead be replaced with a slightly different benefit for Disney Resort Hotel guests.

Welcome: Early Theme Park Entry

Guests staying at Disney World Resort Hotel, as well as a few other hotels, will be able to enter any theme park on any date 30-minutes before the park opens to other guests.

The new approach will allow Disney to spread guests across all the theme parks, and will also give guests more flexibility in which parks they want to visit.

All guests will still need a valid theme park admission ticket and a Park Pass Reservation to enter the parks.
