Many Disney fans are excited about the launch of Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, the Disney Wish, in the summer of 2022. Now, kids from 11 – 17 years old have extra reasons to look forward to the new ship.
The Disney Wish will include newly designed spaces just for teens and tweens, complete with counselor-led events and special Disney touches.
Let’s take a look:
Inspired to look like a New York City loft, the Edge is a hangout for tweens from 11 – 14. It includes places for kids to play games on their own or talk with others, watch a movie, or enjoy a drink from the soda bar. The solarium has an overhead skylight, and the entire area has photo walls for taking selfies.
Teens from 14 – 17 can watch movies, talk with friends, or play games in a space that looks like a Parisian artists’ loft with a retro twist that includes neon and pop art. A bright Mickey Mouse makes a big statement in the space that features floor-to-ceiling windows that look out on the ocean. Like with Edge, the space provides lots of spots for selfies.
The Disney Wish will be the first ship in the Disney Cruise Line family with a space for both tweens and tweens, where older and younger kids can be together. They can enjoy a smoothie, listen to music, or boogie on the dance floor. Bright colors, retro designs, and a disco ball make this a fun space.
Do you know kids who want to sail on the new Disney Wish?
