13 – Have Fun!
Quick take: It is virtually impossible to see and do everything at Disney World.
For some, a trip to Disney World is a once in a lifetime experience (or at least something they can do only every few years). The time is expensive and precious, and they want to see and do as much as possible. That makes sense.
However, realize that Disney World is huge and ever-changing. Unless you are planning a three month long vacation, it is basically impossible to see and do it all. With four theme parks, two water parks, golf courses, Disney Springs, dozens of resorts to explore, and many options for entertainment to check out, you simply can’t see and do it all. Understand that this is OK.
Knowing this going into your vacation should take some pressure off. You don’t have to see and do it all, since you can’t see and do it all.
Plan to enjoy your time, experience what you can, and savor it while you are there. Take time to smell the roses, enjoy the unexpected magical moments that aren’t on your agenda, and be flexible. Some of the best experiences come out of those times.
When issues come up, such as a missed reservation or a rain shower, realize that it is OK. Choose to enjoy it anyway. If you miss something you really wanted to do, make a note, and hopefully you can add this experience to your next visit.
These are just some suggestions for making the most of your Disney Vacation. Every family is different, so something things may work for one family and not for another. Regardless of your situation, enjoy your vacation, and realize that you are making memories that will last a lifetime.
Take away: Relax and have fun!
