Top of the World is an exclusive Disney Vacation Club Lounge in Disney’s Contemporary Resort’s Bay Lake Tower. It feels very exclusive because it is! It is only accessible by way of an elevator controlled by a Cast Member who checks guests’ identification and grants access to the lounge.
Dining
Once you arrive, you’ll be greeted by a large, incredible chandelier, open seating at both tables and the bar, and complimentary water towers.

Top of the World offers an appetizer and dessert menu with lots of good options!
I’ve personally tried the nachos, the Soft Bavarian Pretzel with beer cheese, and the 7 Layer cake, all of which are delicious! Other appetizers include a cheese board, pork sliders, flatbreads, and vegetable crudité.
Drinks

There are several non-alcoholic beverages including flavored lemonade, Top of the World Punch, and the Little Monorail. Alcoholic beverage options include Bay Lake Sunset, Apple Pie Martini, Boulevardier, Monorail Yellow, and a variety of wine by the glass or by the bottle. My favorite is the Seasonal Discovery Island Fizz.

Entertainment
But it’s not just the food that makes Top of the World an awesome experience! If you visit at night, you can watch Magic Kingdom’s Happily Ever After fireworks from the open-air balcony. The music of the show is piped in, so you can enjoy the full experience of the show!

My Review
Top of the World is one of the coolest Disney Vacation Club Member lounges in all of Disney World and is a really fun perk for DVC members to enjoy!

My only negative review is that there isn’t a lot of seating, and the lounge can get pretty busy. If you are planning to get a table and order food, I suggest that you arrive early in the evening especially during busier times and if you have a larger party.
