Disney To Donate $1 Million To Make-A-Wish

Today, April 29, is World Wish Day.  It is fitting that today, and during the announcement of details on the new Disney Wish cruise ship, Disney announced they will donate $1 million to the Make-A-Wish foundation.

Making wishes come true is a big part of Disney’s DNA, and on World Wish Day, I want to say how proud we are to partner with organizations like Make-A-Wish When we join forces, we’re able to make magic happen and be a source of hope and optimism for others, and we look forward to working together to create even more special moments for deserving wish kids and their families in the years to come.
– Bob Chapek, CEO of the Walt Disney Company

Disney has partnered with Make-A-Wish since 1980 to grant wishes for more than 145,000
children with critical illnesses from around the world. Historically, one out of every two wishes granted in the United States is a Disney wish.  Many children request to visit global Disney destinations and
sail on a Disney Cruise.

Excited to hear that Disney will donate $1 million to Make-A-Wish?
