Until recently, only guests staying at one of the Disney resort hotels could take advantage of Extra Magic Hours, the option to spend extra time in one of the theme parks each day either early or late, and book early FastPass+ reservations.

Disney Springs Hotels offer Disney Benefits

However, Disney announced earlier this year that guests saying at one of the Disney Springs Resort Hotels would be able to take advantage of these benefits just like Disney Resort Hotel guests could. Now, even though that special deal was only supposed to be part of Disney’s Incredible Summer offer and was set to end on December 31st, 2018, Disney has extended the offer through at least December 31st, 2019.

This means that guests staying at any of the seven Disney Springs Resort Hotels can continue to enjoy the benefits of Extra Magic Hours and a 60 day FastPass+ window with valid park admission.  They will also get advance tee times and discounts at golf courses, as well as the ability to purchase park tickets at the resort hotel and book Advanced Dining Reservations and dinner shows. This is all possible because Disney has made it possible to link their Disney Springs hotel reservations to the MyDisneyExperience account, which was previously impossible.

Guests staying at these hotels will also enjoy free shuttle transportation (though not Disney buses) every 30 minutes or so to the four theme parks, two water parks, and the Disney Springs entertainment district.  They also receive a Disney Springs Passport Booklet chock-full of discounts and special coupons. The newly renovated Disney Springs has more than 150 dining, entertainment, and retail establishments for your enjoyment. Many of them are open late into the evening for you night owls!
