The newest find in Disney’s Animal Kingdom’s Discovery Island is beautiful handwoven snowflakes that come from a place that provides its own kind of magic!

The Augusta Training Shop, a non-profit in Augusta, GA, provides a necessary avenue for adult artisans with cognitive and physical disabilities to grow and share the talents they possess.
Disney asked these artists from Augusta to make snowflake decorations for Animal Kingdom. Disney then invited these amazing artists to Walt Disney World to enjoy seeing their work that has been “sprinkled” on the shops and buildings in Discovery Island as you walk toward the Tree of Life.

The Disney Company is widespread in its reach to companies similar to The Augusta Training Shop and was honored to work with them to bring more sparkle to Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
