Disney suspended its active Internships & Cultural Representative Programs on April 18, 2020, due to the Coronavirus, and now it has officially suspended the College Programs at Disney World and Disneyland until further notice.  The company has canceled the Fall 2020 program.

The Disney College Program offers students a semester-long paid internship at Disney World or Disneyland where participants work in the parks and resorts, take college-level classes, and live in company-sponsored dorms with other students.

In the announcement on the Disney Interns Twitter feed, the company said that it has not yet determined when it will reopen the Disney college housing complexes and that it is withdrawing offers of employment associated with the program.

The company is changing the eligibility requirements for the program so that recent graduates will be able to re-apply. It also asked people still interested in the program to record their interest.
