Disney CEO Says Park Pass, Virtual Queues Are Here To Stay

During a presentation at a J.P. Morgan Conference, Disney Company CEO Bob Chapek provided some new information about park capacity as well as the ongoing use of park pass reservations and virtual queues.

Park Capacity

Chapek said that Disney would continue to increase Walt Disney World park capacity over the next few months and that he expected to see attendance increase in the low double digits.

Park Pass, Virtual Queues

Chapek also stated that the Park Pass system will stay in place after the pandemic passes and that virtual queues will stick around as well.  This seems to align with a Disney patent on managing multiple virtual queues.

Chapek also said that mobile food sales have increased dramatically since the parks reopened.

Glad that park pass reservations and virtual queues are here to stay?
