Disney’s Hollywood Studios is the main attraction of this special benefit. From September 1st through November 2nd, Disney’s Hollywood Studios will open for Extra, Extra Magic Hours from 6 to 9am. The newly opened Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will be open but subject to capacity as will Toy Story Land, which just opened last year.
It’s worth mentioning that, when Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens on August 29th and until these Extra, Extra Magic hours begin on September 1st, Disney’s Hollywood Studios will open at 6 am for all guests.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Disney’s Animal Kingdom will have daily Extra Magic Hours from 7 to 8 am from August 19th through November 2nd. You’ll notice that this is a few days before Hollywood Studios begins their Extra, Extra Magic Hours. Disney is obviously trying to manage crowds by offering an alternative to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in case the land reaches capacity early (which is highly probable). Pandora – The World of Avatar and other areas will be open during these Extra Magic Hours.
Magic Kingdom will also welcome guests from 7 to 8 am for Extra, Extra Magic Hours between August 29th and November 2nd. Popular attractions in Fantasyland and Tomorrowland will be open to guests.
The Fine Print
To be eligible for the Extra, Extra Magic Hours, you must be a guest of one of Disney’s Resort Hotels or one of the Good Neighbor hotels in the Disney Springs area. You also must have valid park admission and hotel ID, which is linked to your MagicBand. Also, if you don’t have a Park Hopper Option on your admission, you must spend the whole day at the park that you start at. Regular Extra Magic Hours at Epcot will continue as scheduled.
Glad to see Disney offering Extra, Extra Magic Hours?
